The Spirit of Forsyth is written and edited by Richard Whittall, author of the long-running personal soccer blog A More Splendid Life. Richard is also the Associate Editor of Tom Dunmore’s award-winning Pitch Invasion, and is a former contributor to both EPL Talk and Soccerlens.

The idea for this is derived from a month-long series on the history of soccer in Toronto, published in July of 2008.
